Human Trafficking Basics /

 Sex Trafficking, Labor Trafficking and Technology

An introductory training that includes relevant terminology, definitions, different forms of trafficking and general tactics. This section will also cover how human trafficking can intersect with domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.

The training will cover how technology and other methods are used to lure and control victims of both sex and labor trafficking.  The training will present how to effectively provide outreach and advocacy for victims, including securing resources while maintaining their safety.  We will also examine technologies and other tools used in human trafficking and our role in developing the advocacy skills needed to help address this problem and conclude with local and national resources.

Advanced Registration Fee: $25.00 per person

Includes lunch & DPSST Credit
